The administrative framework is headed by the Chief Conservator of Forests (CCF). To manage forestry efficiently, the country is geographically categorized into specific functional units:

• Forest Circles: Headed by Conservators of Forests (CF).

• Forest Divisions: Managed by Divisional Forest Officers (DFO), controlling territorial or specialized sectors (such as Wildlife, Social Forestry, or Logging divisions).
